Meet Katrina

Katrina Wilson, MA RPC RCC
After 15 years in the field of helping, I've learned alot about what works, and what doesn't work. I'm interested in helping you figure that out, too.
I want to better understand what's going on in your life - your relationships, your work life, family, etc., in order to understand what could be contributing to your struggles. I want to understand your thinking patterns, and how your mind makes meaning from your experiences. I want to understand your emotional landscape, and how you cope with your emotions. All of these are going to contribute to the difficulty you're facing, and all of these elements will help us figure out which strategies will work best for you.

I want to help you gain the tools you need to reach your goals and potential. I enjoy working with my clients collaboratively. We'll focus on the strengths you already have, and use them to our advantage in addressing your limitations.
Whether you're needing help navigating ADHD symptoms, trying to tame your anger and emotions, moving through procrastination and feeling stuck with low motivation, or need help learning how to communicate better, I'm here to help. With practical therapy, you can move through these challenges, claiming the life you truly want for yourself.

I'm located in the heart of the Canadian Prairies, in beautiful Brandon, Manitoba. I offer online therapy so that you can work on your goals from the comfort of your own home. No need to travel, find parking, or take extra time off work. Online therapy provides you with a secure, safe environment to create real change in your life.

I primarily practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), with some elements of Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). I work from a neuropsychological (what is happening in your brain), narrative (the story your mind is telling), and integrative framework to understand what's going on for you.
